For many years now I've been interested in discovering, exploiting and fixing computer security issues.
Because I'm a big believer in, and user of, Free Software I started a systematic audit of the software included in the Debian GNU/Linux distribution. This organised work resulted in many advisories being released, but eventually the organised audit ceased due to lack of time.
Despite the failure of the organised auditing process I remain very interested in the detection and correction of security issues in the free software world.
As a result of the organised auditing of Debian GNU/Linux software, and more general examination of software, I've been responsible for the discovery and disclosure of multiple security issues.
I've also discovered and reported security problems affecting several websites.
