     <p>This is the personal homepage of Steve Kemp, a free software programmer living in <a href="http://www.edinburgh.gov.uk"  title="Visit the Edinburgh City Council website">Edinburgh, Scotland</a>.</p>
    <p>This site itself is hosted upon a KVM-based <a href="http://www.debian.org/">Debian GNU/Linux</a> virtual machine maintained as a <a href="http://kvm-hosting.org/">simple co-operative</a>.  The physical hardware is hosted by <a href="http://www.bytemark-hosting.co.uk/" >Bytemark Hosting</a> a company who I started using a few years ago - and now find myself working for!</p>

     <p>I'm a <abbr title="System Administrator">sysadmin</abbr> located in Edinburgh experienced in using and developing under GNU/Linux, Solaris and Microsoft Windows.</p>
     <p>I'm a member of the <a href="http://www.debian.org/" >Debian</a> project, and I run a <a href="http://www.debian-administration.org" >Debian System Administration</a> website in my spare time to share tips and resources which would be useful to fellow Debian GNU/Linux users.  Whilst the site is predominately aimed at system administration there are a lot articles of interest to <i>any</i> Debian user..</p>
