Title: Steve.org.uk - Steve Kemp's Homepage box: This Site
This is the personal homepage of Steve Kemp, a free software programmer living in Edinburgh, Scotland.
This site itself is hosted upon a KVM-based Debian GNU/Linux virtual machine maintained as a simple co-operative. The physical hardware is hosted by Bytemark Hosting a company who I started using a few years ago - and now find myself working for!
boxend: box: About MeI'm a sysadmin located in Edinburgh experienced in using and developing under GNU/Linux, Solaris and Microsoft Windows.
I'm a member of the Debian project, and I run a Debian System Administration website in my spare time to share tips and resources which would be useful to fellow Debian GNU/Linux users. Whilst the site is predominately aimed at system administration there are a lot articles of interest to any Debian user..
boxend: box: My ProjectsI have a large number of interests, and projects which I devote my time to. Most recently these have included:
This is a simple site which offers an XML-RPC service to detect and identify blog/forum spam.
This is the site which I setup to share useful pieces of information about the Debian GNU/Linux operating system.
I'm a keen amateur photographer, and I've posted some of my images upon the sites below:
Other things I work upon are often described in my blog.
